(Saturday 9:45 a.m.) A correction has been made in 3A/3AA,
based on which teams qualify for the playoffs.
In the NC playoffs, after the 32 teams have been determined for each of the eight classifications, each group is split geographically into two brackets of 16, with the winners meeting on neutral-site college fields in state championship games. With rare exceptions, the actual longitude of the schools is used to make the west/east split. Below is the list of west longitudes, based on data from the site www.gpsvisualizer.com.
